FROM BLW/ZT ... The 1970s Buffalo Mega Set !

Buffalo, New York was always a crossroads for American Railroads. In the post WWII era, several major railoads called on Buffalo;
NKP, Wabash, Erie, Pennsy, New York Central, Lehigh Valley, DL&W, B&O, Canadian National, TH&B among others.

The 1960's brought consolidation, with N&W acquiring the NKP and Wabash, Erie and DL&W merging as Erie-Lackawanna,
and Pennsy and New York Central forming the ill-fated Penn Central.
Bigger changes were to come in 1976, when several of these roads were collapsed into Conrail.

In support of Teemu Saukkonen's Buffalo route, Belanger Locomotive Works and ZosaTrains present the 1970s Buffalo set.
This set represents Buffalo in the early 1970s, after the PC merger, but prior to Conrail.
